We need to maintain a healthy use of social media. There are various strategies and habits that promote balance and can protect our mental well-being. Here are some suggestions:

1. Set time limits: Limit the time spent on social media platforms daily to prevent excessive use. You can use built-in device features or third-party apps to track and manage your screen time.

2. Prioritize real-life connections: Foster and maintain in-person relationships with friends and family to ensure a balanced social life, which is crucial for mental health.

3. Curate your feed: Follow accounts and pages that promote positivity, personal growth, and valuable information. Unfollow or mute accounts that may negatively impact your mood or self-esteem.

4. Establish boundaries: Set clear rules for social media use, such as no devices during meals or bedtime, to prevent it from interfering with essential daily activities and routines.

5. Be mindful of your emotions: Consider how social media affects your feelings and mood. If you notice envy, anxiety, or low self-esteem, consider taking a break or reassessing your social media habits.
